Who will be the co-operators and co-ops of the year 2021?
People from co-ops across the UK are invited to choose the winners of the prestigious Co-op of the Year Awards in 2021.
Postponed last year due to the pandemic, the 2021 awards will be announced online in July. And for the first time, the winners of the co-op awards will be chosen through a combination of judges scores and a public vote. Whilst several individual Co-operator of the Year Awards will be selected by a panel of judges representing a range of co-ops.
There are three awards for co-ops based on turnover, an award for the co-op council of the year and several individual awards presented to people who have contributed to shaping the co-operative movement and who embody the co-op values.
The Co-op of the Year Awards are sponsored for the second year running by The Co-operative Bank, and the Cooperative Councils’ Innovation Network is sponsoring the Co-op Council of the Year Award for the third year.
The Co-op of the Year Awards are FREE to enter and open to all Co-operatives UK members. The closing date to nominate a co-op, co-op council or individual co-operator is 4 April 2021.
