Ystrad Mynach Food Co-op

Michael Climer Legacy Fund finances the food co-operative which operates every Tuesday at Holy Trinity Church Hall Ystrad Mynach. Michael Climer passed away in 2017 and he left a sum of money to start a charity which he stressed should be used to help people in the local community. Holy Trinity Church had been an important part of Michael’s life and he would be grateful for the help and support the church has given to the project. The main aim of the charity is to address food poverty. Also to discourage food waste. These are important issues for the church in its outreach programme and therefore the partnership with the charity works well. On his last day Michael said “make a difference”. Volunteers from both Holy Trinity Church and Community volunteers will continue to make that their aim.
